Who is eligible for the warranty?
First-time buyers of a new Schöffel product with the hang tag can make use of the warranty.
How do I register my Schöffel product for the warranty?
You must register at schoeffel.com/guarantee within 3 months of the date of purchase, including proof of purchase.
What does Schöffel’s 5-year warranty include?
The warranty covers defects in materials, manufacture or processing.
Material, manufacturing or processing defects do not include damage resulting from accidents, falls, excessive or abusive use, use of force, lack of or incorrect care. Our service team will check whether any of these errors have occurred. Damage that is not covered by the warranty can be repaired for a fair price.
What products are not covered by the warranty?
This warranty does not apply to:
- Products purchased through Schöffel PRO GmbH.
- Schöffel Team Wear products for use in ski schools, ski clubs or similar.
- Schöffel TEC products (motorcycle clothing, official clothing).
- Schöffel Country products purchased through the “Bradshaw Taylor” company in the UK.
- Products provided by SCHÖFFEL for use by Schöffel crew members, brand ambassadors, testers and athletes.
- Products obtained in a competition.
- Products purchased from the Schöffel warehouse outlet.
- Used or second-hand products and products used for commercial or industrial purposes.
My product has been damaged. How do I submit a warranty claim?
Please submit your warranty application using our contact form and “5-year warranty” as the subject. It is important that you use the same email address as when you registered.
Please provide the following information to enable us to achieve a speedy assessment:
- Description of the defect in your words
- Photos of the damage
- A photo of the model information on the care label (you will find it in the breast pocket, side pocket or side seam)
- A photo of the whole product
It’s been longer than 3 months since my purchase. Can I add the warranty later?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to register the purchase after the 3-month period from the date of purchase. Registration must be completed within this period in order to be eligible for the warranty.
Who bears the shipping costs for checking the product?
Schöffel will bear the shipping costs for registered products that are sent in for checking if requested by the Schöffel Service Team. Shipping costs for products sent it without being requested will not be reimbursed.
What solution can I expect if the warranty claim is confirmed?
If your warranty claim is confirmed, we will, at our discretion and depending on the case:
• carry out a free repair or
• provide an equivalent replacement or
• issue a voucher for the Schöffel online shop in the amount of the purchase price paid.
No cash payments will be made. The warranty period is not extended if a warranty service is provided.
Can I cancel the warranty after registration?
Yes, you can cancel the warranty at any time using the contact form and ask for your details to be deleted.
Is the warranty transferable?
No, the warranty is not transferable. It applies only to the first-time purchasers of a new Schöffel product.
In which countries does the Schöffel warranty apply?
The geographical scope of the warranty is not limited.
How long is the warranty valid?
The warranty is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase as indicated in the invoice provided with the warranty application.
How can I check which products I have already registered?
We’ll be pleased to let you know which products you have registered. Please contact our Service Team using the contact form with “5-year warranty” as the subject. It is important that you use the same email address as when you registered.
